Our customers, that’s YOU folks, have been asking for a longer 2-weight in the Xi Series. Here it is: The H&H 2024 “Xi” 8’1″ 2-weight, 4-piece Fly Rod Blank. The extra 19″‘s over the 6’6″ 2-weight gives you just a bit more ‘reach’, particularly on those small streams with finicky fish. Matte Black finish. Weighs only 0.8 ounces! tip – 3.5, butt .32″, 4-piece blank. The “Xi” series is known for its superior quality and innovative design, and this 8’1″ 2-weight, 4-piece blank is no exception. No matter what you skill level is, you’ll enjoy fishing a rod you crafted from the blank for years and years. This will be a blast to fish, but I do caution you about one thing: handling an 8’1″ 2-weight is different than handling a 6’6″ rod, so be careful not to ‘high stick’. We will only honor warranty requests if material defects are noticed and that must be reported within 30 days of receipt of the blank.
Kit includes H&H Solid aluminum AFS reel seat, AAAA, 7″ inletted reverse half wells grip, Seaguide Gun-smoke (SS316L – newer, high grade 316 stainless steel) 10mm LBG Stripping Guide with Silicon Nitride Ceramic Ring insert, much thinner profile but very, very strong! Adaman Black Seaguide snake guides, tip top & hook keeper. Gunsmoke aluminum knurled winding check. Threads and glues not included.
