Our New X2i kit features 2024 2Xi 9′ 8-weight, 4-piece blank – which is a powerhouse! This is a “true” fast blank – not the broomstick type, but rather the light feel that allows you to quickly load & cast with pinpoint accuracy! Tip 4.0, butt .378″ & weighs only 1.93 ounces! It is unpainted with a sanded raw carbon finish only!
In addition to the X2i Matte Blank, the building kit also features H&H 2024 “X2i” 9′ 8-weight, 4-piece Fly Rod Matte Black Blank, Seaguide tip top and running guides in Adaman Gun-smoke finish, Seaguide Gun-smoke (SS316L – newer, high grade 316 stainless steel) 12mm & 16mm LBG Stripping Guide with Silicon Nitride Ceramic Ring insert, much thinner profile but very, very strong! And they’re lighter than others’ solid titanium guides with Zirconia rings (Learn more here.)! This kit also includes cork grip, 4A Quality, full wells 7″, Fixed Fighting Butt, H&H PFS-TU reel stunning, all aluminum, reel seat with Dark Gun-smoke finish, matching hook keeper and winding check. Threads and glues/finishes not included. You find the threads here and the 2-part epoxy glues and thread finish here. Thread/finish/epoxy not included.
