It was about 10 years ago that I found a taper on some beautiful blanks that I fished in a variety of configurations … and at a price we couldn’t pass up! IM8-10 & 12 Graphite for 2024! (Previously our ‘Special Buy’ blanks.)
9ft 8wt – Tip 4.5 Butt .390″, 2.10 ounces
This blank will also cast exceptionally well with a 7WF line or for a more moderate cast, 8WF.
The kit is hard chrome with a traditional double foot guide set, full wells grip and an all-aluminum, uplocking U11 seat with fixed fighting butt. Everything you need is included with the exception of the thread and glue.
Blanks have no label which makes them perfect to build as a gift or presentation rod.
I’ve seen comparable blanks which we use in these kits sell for over $250!
