We offer two different models, the BG and the LBG. The main photo shows how they look different … and it goes way beyond ‘looks’!
The LBG is Seaguide’s new ultra-lightweight fly guide. And to make it even lighter, all our H&H LBG have the lightest/strongest ring insert I’ve seen which is their RS Silicon Nitride ring. Lightweight but strong! I have one in my hand while I’m writing this and just keep saying “Wow!” I can’t break it, it’s thin and weighs practically nothing at all. And if that’s not enough reason to use them, they also sport a lower overall height which makes is just a tad easier to slide your rod into a bag and tube!!
We also have the LGB with a ‘gold’ Zirconia ring. These are available in black with a gold ring and gun smoke with a gold ring. The’ll give a rod just that little bit of flash … just a tad … great for gifts and presentations!
You’ll notice that the BG model is a more conventional stripping/casting guide. We offer Seaguide’s BG model (SBLSG’s) in Polished Silver frame color with Zirconia ceramic ring insert in this series at the present time.
