Prorietary high modulus graphite blend with the most modern resins available, help reduce the weight and strengthen this blank which makes it unsurpassed! These are sanded but not painted … you may notice the way the blank was wound. It’s not a vanity blank … it’s a fishing tool and the best one I’ve found. We thought of having it painted, but like the raw carbon appeal … we’re fishing, not at a fashion show!

So I finally got to test the X2i on my trip to El Sargento Mexico this week. It performed extremely well. Casts well in the wind and loads nice. Plenty of backbone to fight rooster fish, golden trevally, green jacks and big needle fish. Definitely glad I chose this blank.
