Industry leader ALPS™ has taken the immensely popular Centra-Lock™ design concept developed for heavy duty aluminum saltwater reel seats and downsized it for implementation into a new series of cutting edge fly reel seat designs. The Centra-Lock™ concept mechanically aligns the slide band with the front retainer to eliminate the guesswork of installing the reel on the rod. The new Centra-Lock™ fly seats feature weight reducing angular cuts in the main body, plus light weight woven texalium inserts for the high tech look we all love. There are two sizes to choose from, freshwater design that is perfect for fly rods that fall in the 3-6 weight range and saltwater design for 6-10 weight fly rods. The saltwater design features a custom trim ring for a beautiful finish between the seat and fighting butt as well as double locking nuts to hold your favorite reel in place.
