Round webby feathers at the top of the cape, excellent for mayfly wings. Complet mottling and markings in the mid and lower cape feathers, unique and exceptionally good for all soft hackle applications. Excellent substitution for many game bird feathers including partridge.
Instead of black barring, the grizzly part is a medium dun, from a bluish gray to a bluish brown. I'd use it for any pattern that called for grizzly, and focus on the light may fly or caddis patterns - try making a pale elk hair caddis with this!
