There is a ‘cutting edge’ in rodbuilding and Recoil is right on it. First, their guides are made in the USA. Now that’s a good start, but they’re actually made of a nickel/titanium alloy which makes it absolutely corrosion proof in addition to being strong! They have memory, so if you accidentally step on a guide, it’ll spring back to it’s original dimensions, instead of being crushed, putting you and your rod out of service. And these Recoil guides are light .... in fact, they may be the lightest guides available anywhere!
