This "Limited Edition" 9' 5-weight "Xi" kit will build a rod of excellent performance! It'll also be the best looking rod in your fly fishing arsenal. Our "Xi" blank is a "True" medium-fast blank, perfect for most trout, bass & panfish fishing.
Kit includes a lightweight, gunsmoke aluminum uplocking UL3 reel seat, with fancy Maple wood channel insert, 7" reverse half wells grip, TiCH (titanium) plated snake guides, tip top, aluminum knurled winding check & TiCH hookkeeper. Stripping guides are lightweight with Titanium plating & Gold Zirconium ring insert, for extra smooth casting. Threads and glues not included.

| Ron, I have been meaning to write you and tell you how much I LOVE the 5wt, 4 pc Xi rod I made a couple of months ago from your Xi kit! It is the BEST casting rod I have ever used and this includes high end Sage and Orvis rods! I cannot believe how smoothly it casts! I swear that I was casting 60 + feet effortlessly and accurately! Amazing! Your recommendations are right on! |
