Its fine with a hollow core - this is broken up in several places so it doesn't retain water. We'd tell you to buy it in bulk and make a great sweater or awesome jacket, but the Marine who turned us on to the fiber insisted we use it for midge nymphs and monster size dry flies. We were like, hmmm. Then we did it. Now, we suggest you skip the sweater and toss these awesome colors on a fly or two . . .
